What is the real difference between First Class, Business and Coach … and what is the kind of business?
I am planning a trip to go see * Squee my dad who lives in PA, I've never seen before, so I'll fly out there. I want to fly, but I've never flown before in my life, so I dont know what I'm looking for. First Class, it seems expensive, but if I have to spend more than seven hours on a plane worth? Business class … I did not even know what that is … business people can only get into it? And the coach … I remember all those movies with the kids screaming and people say bad touch and overcrowding that … I closterphobic (only a little, not too seriously.) Any help or advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance!
80% of seats on a plane are in economy class, so it's normal mode of travel on a plane for most people. Coach class seats are not close but just barely: there are about an inch between you and the person on either side of the body, and an inch between the knees and the seat in front of you. It is the optimum spacing for the cost-effectiveness. And Despite its closterphobic I would recommend it. However, most of the advertising by airlines is business class and first class, because this is much more expensive, typically 5-10 times as much, so it's not worth it in my opinion. There is so much more space between seats, the type of room on the that could get between desks in a meeting room at work. You get expensive meals and other outrageous things – all to appeal to me, in my opinion.
